Awesome After-School Moments made better with Goldfish Crackers! EveryMomDay.com

Awesome After-School Moments #GoldfishMoments

Weekday evenings are the busiest time of day for my family. We have to do school/babysitter pickup, dinner, homework, and our bedtime routine – times 4 – all in just over 2 hours. It can be difficult to make evenings enjoyable and not just a rush to get everything done. I am always looking for creative ways to make ordinary moments extraordinary, and this week Goldfish crackers helped make that happen!

There is a new club in town - the PostPal Club - and your kids will LOVE it! - EveryMomDay.com

There is a New Club in Town: The Post Pal Club!

There are many reasons why my kids and I set a “resolution” (we prefer to think of them as goals) of writing letters to their friends & family. Many of our friends live 3 thousand miles away in NY and with the time difference and our busy schedules, we do not call as much as we should – plus the kids LOVE getting mail! When I heard about the Post Pal Club, I knew that would be a super fun way to kick off implementation of our goal!

Customize School Supplies with Label Daddy

With Label Daddy’s peel and stick custom name labels I was able to quickly and easily label ALL my girls’ school supplies before sending them off for their first day of school. The laminated coating makes these labels extra durable – making them perfect for school. The sizes were all perfect – the smallest ones easily labeled our crayons and scissors, and larger labels stuck nicely to boxes, notebooks and more, to help ensure that their belongings don’t get lost or mixed up!

Back To School Wreath

How is it possible that we are already back in school?! Some of my long-distance friends are not quite there yet – having about 2 weeks before they start. Either way, Back to School season is upon us all! When we went out to buy the school supplies we needed, we picked up a couple extras for this month’s wreath! This will look adorable on our front door for the next few weeks, and it would also make a great teacher’s gift!

Celebrate August

June had Father’s Day and Flag Day… July had Independence Day… September has Labor Day… WAIT! What about August? August somehow got skipped over in the holiday distribution, but that doesn’t mean that there is nothing fun to celebrate about the 8th month of the year!

Here is a list of daily fun holidays to celebrate this August:

It is not new news that Adult Coloring Books are all the rage and you will find hundreds with an Amazon search.  Mandalas seem to be the most traditional option to me, and there are plenty of themed adult coloring books as well – from inspirational quotes to swearing and from nature scenes to whimsical dreamscapes.  Of course I only shop with Amazon Prime, because I am impatient, so I collected a list of some of my favorite prime-eligible and affordable adult coloring book options below (prices may vary):

Book2 Book3 Book4 Book5 Book1Book7Book8

This past Christmas, my go-to Secret Santa gift was this coloring book daily calendar.  I also absolutely adore this coloring book weekly planner – I can envision myself coloring each week’s picture in as I wait on hold for the doctors office, or while drinking my morning coffee.  I have to assume it’d take me a week to get through each picture!  They also make adult coloring books themed around characters like Harry Potter, Disney Princesses, and lots more!

Because I love my adult coloring book – and I want to do something fun and nice for you – I have designed a mini coloring book just for you, my blog followers!  It is 4 pages and themed around my blog of course, EveryMomDay: Coffee, Crayons & Chardonnay!

How do you get it?  Subscribe to the EveryMomDay mailing list and we will send you a link to the downloadable file!  Easy peasy!  Now, I hate spam as much as you do – so I will never give your email address to anyone else and I will only use it to send you blog-related updates, no more than once per week.
